Lauren joins Director Lauren Hitron to build an unparalleled leadership program at SHS. The addition of the JFLI Program Manager position signifies the ongoing progress and success of the Institute and assists in moving SHS into the next chapter of leadership development for our students.

As Program Manager, Lauren will work hand-in-hand with SHA students ensuring their success in our experiential learning opportunities, primarily the Charles Kane Family Internship Program, while growing the program through community and alumnae partnerships. Adding Lauren as Program Manager will allow the Institute, the first of its kind in Louisville, to reach new heights in providing leadership and career development initiatives and transforming the lives of our students.

Lauren comes to Sacred Heart from Bellarmine University’s Office of Career Development, where she has served as the Assistant Director of Employer Engagement and Experiential Learning and as Employer Engagement Coordinator since 2017. Lauren says, “As a lifelong learner, experiential education has guided every curve of my professional journey. My roles at Bellarmine allowed me to harness my passions within education, working to engage students and alums toward meaningful career discovery. I am confident that my commitment to this experiential education as a transformative student experience will allow me to further the overarching goals of the JFLI and the vision of Sacred Heart Schools.”

Lauren values her Catholic education both in high school and at Bellarmine. She graduated from Bellarmine in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Minors in Theater and Theology. She returned to Bellarmine, earning her Master of Arts in Communication in December 2018.
