Twenty-three Level 7 and Level 8 students from Sacred Heart Model School participated in the 2019 Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) conference and received the honor of Premiere Delegation.
Rylie Koval received the award for outstanding ambassador and Jace Taila and Cole Cornett served as committee chairs. Isabela Moreno represented Sudan in the security council by debating and writing resolutions with other country representatives. William Hamilton, Jane Hochman, Valentina Moreno and Sydney Webb presented a resolution that passed in summit and was endorsed by the KUNA Secretary General. The students represented the country of Sudan by making a market, creating costumes, constructing a sign and presenting a resolution.
