Athletics
Students from Kindergarten through Level 8 have many opportunities to participate in competitive athletics throughout the year. Led by SHMS’ Athletic Director, Sacred Heart Model School fields more than two dozen teams in 14 sports. Our athletes have access to beautiful on-campus athletics facilities, including practice and game fields, a five-court tennis complex, regulation track, softball field, and a gymnasium that boasts a climbing wall, wooden flooring, locker rooms, spectator seating, and concessions. Because of the size and quality of our facilities, SHMS often hosts league competitions. SHMS competes in the Catholic Schools Athletic Association (CSAA), the official athletic organization of Louisville area Catholic elementary and middle schools. Go Bears!
Boys Volleyball Registration
Registration for Levels 3-8 is OPEN.

Registration will CLOSE January 31. Failure to register before the deadline may result in your student not playing volleyball.
Coaches Needed - Volleyball & ALL Sports.
SHMS relies on volunteer parent coaches. If we don’t get volunteers, we may not be able to field a team or be forced to field a large team. Experience is helpful but not required.

Lacrosse - Girls and Boys Level 3-8
Registration for Levels 3-8 is OPEN.

SHMS will merge with Holy Spirit who will run the Lacrosse program. Registration will CLOSE January 24 (Girls) and January 31 (Boys). Failure to register before the deadline may result in your student not playing lacrosse.
Girls Level 3-6 play at SHMS on Sundays in a league run by Sacred Heart Academy.
Girls Level 7/8 play weekday games at host schools
Boys Level 3/4 play Sundays at King Louie
Boys Level 5/6 play Wednesdays at King Louie
Boys Level 7/8 play Mondays at King Louie
Practices will be determined by coaches so no further information is available at this time.
